Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about our equipment, pricing, warranty and delivery. We manufacture every reformer, cadillac, tower, chair and ladder barrel in our own factory, so these answers come directly from the source.
How much does a commercial Pilates reformer cost?
Commercial-grade reformers across the industry typically run from about $3,000 to well over $8,000 per unit. At Private Pilates Equipment, factory-direct pricing puts our wood reformer bundles between $3,590.90 and $5,490 depending on configuration (reformer only, reformer with tower, or cadillac-reformer combo). Every bundle ships with springs, ropes, sitting box, jump board and accessories included, with free insured shipping in the United States.
Who manufactures Private Pilates equipment?
We do. Private Pilates Equipment is a manufacturer, not a reseller. Every frame, spring, rail and bolt is produced in-house in our own factory in Türkiye, from first-class beechwood and chrome-plated or stainless steel. There is no dealer or importer between our factory floor and your studio, which is why our commercial equipment sells at factory-direct prices.
Is Private Pilates a reseller or a China-brand importer?
No. We design and manufacture our own equipment in our own facility. Several resellers buy from factories and add a dealer margin on top; we are the factory. That is also why some retailers sell equipment comparable to ours at significantly higher prices.
What warranty comes with the equipment?
Every machine carries a 10-year warranty on the main frame (the wood and metal structure) against manufacturing defects. Wear items such as springs, ropes, straps and upholstery are consumables and sit outside the frame warranty. Spare parts are available for every model we sell, for as long as you run your equipment.
How long does delivery take?
Single orders to the United States are delivered in 7 to 14 business days with free insured shipping. Bulk and studio orders take approximately 6 weeks including production. Australia and New Zealand orders ship by sea and arrive in 8 to 12 weeks, fully insured. We ship to 37 countries worldwide.
Do you offer studio or bulk discounts?
Yes. The prices on our website apply to single-unit orders. For orders of 3 or more machines we apply address-specific volume pricing that resellers cannot match, because we build everything ourselves and there is no middleman margin in our chain. Request a quote through our studio packages page and we will price your full build-out, usually the same day.
Which reformer should a new studio choose?
Most new studios start with wood reformer bundles (with or without towers) for group classes, then add a cadillac-reformer combo for private sessions and a combo chair and ladder barrel for full classical programming. For a detailed breakdown of bed counts and budgets, read our guide on how many reformers a new studio needs.
What is the difference between the wood and foldable metal reformers?
The wood reformers are built from first-class beechwood for permanent studio floors. The foldable metal reformer has a chrome-plated steel chassis that folds upright in seconds, built for home studios and multi-use spaces where floor space matters. Both are commercial-grade and carry the same 10-year frame warranty.
Can I see the equipment before buying?
We offer live video tours of the equipment over WhatsApp, and our assembly videos are published on every product page. Studios in Melbourne, Australia can also book an in-person consultation. Message us on WhatsApp at +1 307 435 9592 to arrange either.
